Amara Offhaus
About Me: I believe that the most successful people in the world are those who are passionate, dedicated, modest and respectful. Therefore, I strive to be all of those things not only in every day life, but especially while pursuing my dream to become a professional actress. I understand that this is my job, and I treat it as such. You can know that when you hire me you will get everything that you ask for and more. I will do whatever it takes to make my role as successful as it can be, even if it means climbing a waterfall. I pride myself on taking direction well, my ease at learning lines, and my ability to adapt well to my surroundings. Please give me a challenge;I welcome them!
Short Resume: I started acting in plays and musicals around my town. At 15 I became active in the local college in my area, and was recruited to their theater department at 16 to play the leading role of Sheila in "Hair". I was also accepted to the school at 16, and while still in high school I attended the college, studying acting and stagecraft. I was accepted to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy but was unable to attend due to finances. Since then I have tried to make my way in film, first being 'discovered' by John Lyons of Lyons Den Productions and asked to audition for his film 'Schism', in which I played a supporting role. The film has gone on to win awards and snag the attention of Chuck Palahniuk, author of "Fight Club" and "Choke", and person idol. I then went on to work a couple of horror/action films with KillerWolf Films, including my first lead as Vick in "Warriors of the Apocalypse". I can't wait for my next project!
